Pegasus is a broad-spectrum insecticide-cum-miticide from Syngenta, formulated with Diafenthiuron — a unique "pro-insecticide" that stays inactive until it is sprayed and activated by sunlight. Once triggered, it produces a strong vapor action that penetrates deep into the crop canopy, reaching pests hidden on the undersides of leaves.

Blocks mitochondrial ATP synthase in insects, cutting off their energy supply — pests are paralyzed and stop feeding almost immediately, with death occurring in about 3–4 days
